Today we had a former Kindergarten student come in and help us with our Report Writing. Joshua cam in and taught us ALL about Hyennas. He did an amazing job teaching us the facts! Our writing was AWESOME! Thanks Joshua!!

Report Writing!
Last week, we started a new writing genre: REPORT WRITING! Last week we learned about wolves, bats and sharks. This week we are doing a unit on different types of bears. Monday we learned about Grizzly Bears and today we learned about Brown Bears. Be sure to ask your child the FUN FACTS they learned about each animal. Also... try to have them write a report at home on one of the animals we have already learned about. Their report writing should have an introductory sentene: Do you know that wolves travel in packs? Then they must write 3 FACTS about that animal. Then they must have an ending: Now you know all about Wolves! If you ahve any questions about Report Writing... please see Miss Davoli or Mrs. Teper :)
