This nine weeks we are working on recognizing our color words. Your child must be able to read and recognize these words on their own. You may want to make flashcards with these words on them for practice!

CAN You Help US? Food Drive for Nov. 6- Nov. 20th

This year Beauclerc is having a can food drive to help those in need. One class from each grade will be awarded a POPCORN Party for bringing in the mot canned items! One child from each class will also receive a prize for donating the most canned items. So bring those cans in! The food drive starts November 6th and ends on November 20th.

In Science, we are learning something NEW! We are learning Forces in Motion. We are going to learn all about pushing and pulling objects.

Writers Workshop for 10/27- 10/30

This week in Writers Workshop we are getting ready to write Functional Writing! Functional Writing is writing that tells people how to do things. Example: how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. To get ready for Functional Writing, we will be learning how to make lists this week in writing. By Friday, students should be able to generate their own list. Have your child practice list writing at home with you!
