Science

In Science, we have been learning about the four Seasons and how the Seasons change. Yesterday we learned all about Fall. Our class learned how things change to become Fall:
leaves change colors, leaves fall off the tree, it is windy, and it is cooler outside.

Writing

In Writing, Mrs. Teper has been teaching our class how to write Narrative Stories. These are stories that are real or make believe. To start our stories, we have been using AWESOME Story Starters. Make sure to check out your child's story starters!!! Some examples of story starters are:
One fine day
One scary night
One rainy day
One day at the park

Math

In Math, Miss Davoli is teaching our class all about AB Patterns. Make sure to talk with your child about their AB Pattern!

Reminders

Parents,
Please make sure that I know how your child will be getting home on the first day of school and for the rest of the year.

We will be using planners to communicate information, however, we are still awaiting the shipment of some planners to the school. This means the first couple weeks of school we will be communicating through a notebook, the blog, email and phone. If there will be any changes in your child's schedule, I must have it in writing. :)

Remember to send in a packed lunch for the first week of school if you can. If you are unable to make sure you put money in your child's mylunchmoney.com . If you add money to your child's account remember that it may take up to 48 hours to apply to the account.

Please remember the extra change of clothes to leave at school... Just in case!

I am looking forward to seeing all of you on the first day of school! Make sure you get plenty of rest tonight! Don't forget your ready confetti :)

GET READY...GET SET...GET FIT!!!!

That is our school wide theme this year. This year at Beauclerc we will be learning how to keep our bodies and our minds in shape and ready to learn! I am very excited for Orientation! Remember... Orientation is Friday, August 21, 2009 at 11:30 a.m.
See you there!!!
