Joshua's little sister, Charlotte, was born Thursday! Today she came to see us at our Holiday Party! Congratulations! She is absolutely beautiful.

Parents... Please do not forget to send in your Holiday items for our Holiday Party. Our party is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th. Please remember to wear your pajamas. Field Trip Permission Slip

Jack Hartmann is a well-known author of educational and upbeat children's music. His songs are among some of our favorites in class. We are pleased to welcome Jack Hartmann on January 14th to our school. Jack will leading a sing-along concert with the Kindergarten students. Please sign and return the permission slip in the envelope with the $5.00 cash as soon as possible. We are SUPER excited to sing with Jack Hartmann!

Holiday Party!

Our holiday party is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16th. Please check your child's planner for information on volunteering and what items you are responsible for bringing in. We are very excited for this fun time. Don't forget to wear your pajama's!!!!!

OOPS!

Parents... I made a mistake. The notice that went home about reading at home stated that you should log your child's books into his/her planner. That is a mistake. Please do NOT log the books in the planner. Please continue to log your child's read books into his/her Book Log. I apologize for any confusion. Thanks so much for understanding. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We will not have school Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week for the Thanksgiving break. Please have a safe and restful holiday. I will see you back to school on Monday December 1st!

Mrs. Teper will be absent November 5- 17th

Parents,
I will be absent starting Wednesday November 5th. I will be back to school on November 18th (a Tuesday). The class will have an awesome substitute. Her name is Mrs. Paige Bergeron. She is very excited to be a part of our class for the next 9 school days!!!!

Field Trip to the Jacksonville Zoo

Tomorrow is our field trip to the Zoo! Please remember to pack a lunch. No lunch boxes. No glass bottles, and no soda! Please put your lunch in a brown paper bag with your name on it.
Please wear pants and sneakers.
Parents- if you are chaperoning please be at the school by 8:45 to follow the bus. We will NOT be able to wait on you to arrive.

Please remember that Field Trip money and permission slip are due tomorrow October 14th. Please make sure you send in the $2.50 to go to the Zoo. Our trip is October 28th!!!

Our Apple Party!

To celebrate Fall we had an apple party today! We bobbed for apples, made apple jack cereal necklaces, did tear paper apple trees, apples up on top, and apple painting. At the end of the day we had apple juice and applesauce! YUM YUM! Happy Fall!

Treasure Chest Fridays!

Fridays are VERY special in our class because they are Treasure Chest Fridays! Students are rewarded with getting to pick an item out of the Treasure Chest if they did NOT flip their card ALL week. The items in the Treasure Chest are silly and fun!

Pattern Fun!

In Math, we have been working on learning patterns. We have learned an AB Pattern (red, green, red, green, red, green, etc.), an AABB Pattern (red, red, green,green, red,red,green, green, etc.), an ABC Pattern (red, green, yellow, red, green, yellow, etc) and an ABB Pattern ( red, green, green, red, green, green,etc.)
