Writers Workshop 1/11- 1/15

This week in Writers Workshop, we are continuing to write Persuasive writing papers. Parents: if your child wants a new toy... have them right a Persuasive paper on why that toy is the best, or why they deserve getting a new toy!

Readers Workshop 1/11- 1/15

This week in Readers Workshop, we will be learning how to Summarize stories. When we summarize, students will retell the story using beginning, middle and an ending. Parents: at night when reading a book to your child, have them Summarize the story once you are done reading it.

Math Investigations for 1/11- 1/15

This week in Math Investigations we will be working on measuring towers. We will be building and comparing how tall our towers are. Parents... be sure to talk about measurement at home with your child!
