Writers Workshop for 10/27- 10/30

This week in Writers Workshop we are getting ready to write Functional Writing! Functional Writing is writing that tells people how to do things. Example: how to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. To get ready for Functional Writing, we will be learning how to make lists this week in writing. By Friday, students should be able to generate their own list. Have your child practice list writing at home with you!

Our First Field Trip!

We are going to the Jacksonville ZOO on October 22, 2009! Make sure to sign and return your child's planner! The cost is $3.00 for students. Parents... if you are interested in chaperoning it is $9.00!
