Treasure Chest Fridays!

Fridays are VERY special in our class because they are Treasure Chest Fridays! Students are rewarded with getting to pick an item out of the Treasure Chest if they did NOT flip their card ALL week. The items in the Treasure Chest are silly and fun!

Pattern Fun!

In Math, we have been working on learning patterns. We have learned an AB Pattern (red, green, red, green, red, green, etc.), an AABB Pattern (red, red, green,green, red,red,green, green, etc.), an ABC Pattern (red, green, yellow, red, green, yellow, etc) and an ABB Pattern ( red, green, green, red, green, green,etc.)

Our Class Shirts Have Arrived!

Check out our FABULOUS new class shirts! We will be wearing these on field trips and special events at school. At the end of the year, these are yours to keep!

Welcome Mrs. P!

Mrs. P is a new Kindergarten Teacher who comes to our room every Tuesday and Thursday. She does Math lessons with our class. We really enjoy seeing her and her cart named "buggy". The class especially loves getting a skittle for keeping their math sticks for great behavior. Welcome Mrs. P to Mrs. Teper's Treasures. We are so happy to have you!

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair started yesterday! Our annual Read and Feed is Thursday September 11th. This is a great time to come and browse the great books Scholastic has to offer. You can also donate a book to our classroom library! Look for our paper bag in the library to donate books. Please make sure you send in your Read and Feed sign up by the end of Tuesday!

Early Release

A Surprise Visit!

Today after our Reading Celebration we had a surprise visit from J.J. our super cool school mascot. J.J. came into our classroom while we were charting how to be Great Writers. J.J. even autographed our chart!
